After two early wickets, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green are anchoring Kolkata Knight Riders’ innings against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2026 game played at Raipur.
The duo went on to stabilise the innings after KKR lost the wickets of Finn Allen and Ajinkya Rahane early in the power play of the rain-affected game.
After being invited to bat first, Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen opened the innings while Bhuvneshwar Kumar opened the bowling attack.
Despite a good start, the duo could not convert the start as Bhuvneshwar Kumar bagged the wicket of Finn Allen for 18 runs. He got dismissed on a length ball where he outside edge as Jitesh Sharma picked the catch behind the wickets.
Meanwhile, Josh Hazlewood bagged the wicket of Ajinkya Rahane for 19 runs. He got dismissed on short and quick around off as the ball got top edged as Josh Hazlewood bagged the catch.
With Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green at crease, Kolkata Knight Riders scored 56 runs in the powerplay.
The duo forged a 50-run partnership in 39 deliveries as KKR cross 100 run mark in their innings.
