Bangalore now needs to score 193 runs to win. Invited to bat first, KKR got off to a poor start, losing their first wicket in the form of Finn Allen for 23 runs in 2.3 overs. Allen scored 18 runs in 8 balls, hitting 3 fours and 1 six. Then, the team suffered another blow at 48 when captain Ajinkya Rahane was dismissed. He scored 19 runs in 13 balls, hitting 3 fours and 1 six.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi did wonders

Coming in at number three, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green shared a 68-run partnership in 46 balls. This partnership ended with Green's dismissal. By this point, KKR had scored 116 runs. Green made 32 off 23 balls, hitting three fours and a six.

Raghuvanshi then added 76 runs in 46 balls for the fourth wicket with Rinku Singh to help the team cross the 190-run mark.

It's worth noting that Kolkata has won its last four consecutive matches. The team began the season with five consecutive losses. In its last four matches, it has defeated Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants (in a Super Over), Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals.
