The world’s richest man Elon Musk has confirmed that he is traveling to China aboard Air Force One with US President Donald Trump. Giving information about being a part of this historic journey, through a post on social media platform X, Musk wrote, “Going to Beijing on Air Force One.”

Historic Beijing visit after 9 years

This visit is considered very important diplomatically and economically, because after a gap of almost a decade, a sitting American President is visiting China. The main objective of this ‘summit’ between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping is to reduce the economic deadlock amid global tension and establish better trade relations.

Gathering of leading American industrialists

This high-profile delegation from the White House includes not only Elon Musk but also Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and more than a dozen top American corporate executives.

  • The visit is special for Nvidia as the company is looking for regulatory approval to sell its advanced H200 AI chips in China.
  • Other leaders included in the delegation will also try to expand their business in China and overcome legal obstacles.
