The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has sought response from the major investigating agencies of the Central Government – ​​CBI, Enforcement Directorate (ED) and SFIO in this case. The court has directed all these agencies to present their detailed information before the court within the next 8 weeks.

What did the court say to the agencies?

The division bench of Justice Rajesh Singh Chauhan and Justice Zafeer Ahmed passed this order in S. Gave while hearing the petition of Vignesh Shishir. During the hearing, the CBI lawyer informed the court that they have received the petitioner’s complaint and the reply to the investigation will be filed by the next date. At the same time, ED also told the court that they are investigating the allegations and its progress report will be before the court soon. The court said in clear words that if the complaint has been received, then the agencies should verify the allegations as per law and take necessary action.

Sensitivity of the case and next hearing

Considering the seriousness and sensitivity of this matter, the High Court has taken a big decision. The court has ordered that the entire file of the petition and other important documents be kept safe in a sealed envelope. Now the next hearing of this high-profile case will be on July 20. The petitioner had also sought to make the Central Government’s Department of Personnel (DoPT), Finance Ministry and Corporate Affairs Ministry as parties, which has been accepted by the court.

BJP worker has made serious allegations

Let us tell you that this petition was filed by Karnataka BJP worker S. Vignesh Shishir has filed. The petitioner’s direct allegation is that the assets of Rahul Gandhi and his family are much more than their declared sources of income. The petition has demanded that the central investigating agencies should investigate this matter impartially. In the next hearing, the court will first consider the maintainability of this petition, that is, it will decide whether this petition is legally eligible for hearing or not. Only after this will the further direction of the matter be decided.
