Desk: South star Surya and Trisha Krishnan’s film ‘Karuppu’ has been released in theaters today i.e. on 14th May. But a few hours before the release, the makers of ‘Karuppu’ got a big shock. The show of the film was also scheduled to run at 9 am, but before its release the producer informed about the cancellation of the show. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Thalapathy Vijay had given special approval for the 9 o’clock show. The makers had also expressed gratitude to CM Vijay for this.

Nothing is clearly known yet as to why the 9 o’clock show of the film was cancelled. The producer has said that a situation had arisen which could not be avoided. Therefore the 9 o’clock show of the film had to be cancelled. The film’s director RJ Balaji wrote a post on X and said that the matter will be resolved soon. He wrote, “Dear fans. I don’t have a direct answer to this situation right now. The producers are working on solving this problem. There have always been obstacles in front of this film, but somehow God has crossed our boat and after 32 months we are here. This time too I have full faith in Him.”

It is being said in some reports that due to financial problems, the 9 am show of the first day of Surya and Trisha Krishnan’s ‘Karuppu’ could not be run. However, no statement has come from the makers on this claim.
