With summer around the corner, many will be thinking of family gatherings outdoors and barbecues to make the most of the sunshine. Luckily for shoppers, there's a Ninja BBQ Grill & Smoker on offer, saving nearly £200.

The Ninja Woodfire Pro XL Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker is currently available from Ninja's site for £399.99, down from £574.99, saving £175. The brand says this is an 'exclusive bundle' featuring a stand and cover.

It is described as a large-capacity outdoor electric BBQ grill, smoker and air fryer, featuring a built-in probe and four cooking functions. The brand's Smart Cook System monitors food temperature as it cooks for 'perfectly cooked meat and fish'.

With its large capacity, Ninja says it fits up to 10 burgers, six steaks or two whole 3kg chickens. It burns natural wood pellets for authentic smoky flavours - something shoppers have praised - and it is powered electrically, so there's no charcoal, gas or flames.

The grill can be used 'anywhere' and is said to be perfect for gardens, patios, campsites, balconies and more. It is also weather-resistant for year-round outdoor use, the site says, giving shoppers plenty of options.

For another electric option, Char-Broil has the Patio Bistro E2Coal in black for £349. Described as the perfect electric BBQ for city living and balconies, it can reach up to 370°C and has Hybrid Power Technology to let users 'switch effortlessly between electric and charcoal cooking for maximum flexibility'.

Alternatively, Weber has the Lumin Compact Electric Barbecue for £389. This space-saving option reaches temperatures over 315°C, and is said to 'achieve high-quality searing, while smoke infusion further enhances that barbecue flavour guests crave'.

The Ninja Woodfire Pro XL Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker has been highly rated by shoppers, clocking up a 4.8 average star rating from more than 2,200 reviews. One customer wrote: "What a fabulous piece of equipment this is. So easy to understand the instructions. The smoker boost is a great addition. I used it for mushrooms as well as the steaks; it adds a subtle smoky flavour to the food. Ninja have really thought of everything in this."

Another five-star review called the BBQ "perfection", reading: "Will never look back... unbelievable quality, easy to use, and the flavours it produces are second to none. One of my better buys." While a third chimed in: "Honestly, this is the best way to cook outside at home. An utter game-changer, even in British summertime. No need for gas bottles either."

Some shoppers shared slight critiques, like one who docked a star, writing: "The product itself is of very good quality and is very functional. The on/off switch, however, could be better located, and the packaging, although protecting the product very well, is quite wasteful." Another added: "Great little outside oven, but food sticks to the griddle plate."
