Zara Tindall is turning 45 today, and will no doubt be celebrating with her nearest and dearest. While Zara, as Princess Anne's daughter, is a member of the Royal Family, she is not a working royal.

This means that her birthday, unless it's a special milestone one, is not normally publicly marked by the Royal Family. However, this doesn't mean she won't be given plenty of presents to celebrate her special day.

Among her family members who are likely to give her presents is her husband Mike Tindall.

While some may believe he will shower her with expensive gifts such as jewellery or handbags, a royal insider has said this is not likely to be the case.

Jack Stooks, who worked as a royal gardener for The Royal Household, said that instead, Mike is likely to give his wife something practical.

Speaking to Heart Bingo Online, Jack said: "Zara's all about practicality - she isn't one for tiaras or fancy dresses

"In terms of what Mike might buy Zara for her birthday, it would probably be something practical."

He continued: "He won't buy her a handbag or a diamond ring, but she might need something to do with riding gear that she needs in the future.

"I can't imagine her opting for tiaras or fancy dresses.

"I guess for her it might be a nice jacket that she could wear or some new boots for riding."

It is not known how Zara plans to spend her 45th birthday on May 15.
