The latest update also expands walking directions support across the US and major international cities like London, Paris, and Rome.

Live captions are now supported for voice conversations on WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram Direct.

Along with these consumer-focused updates, Meta has also opened up developer preview access for its platform.

Developers can now create lightweight web apps using HTML/CSS/JavaScript that can be deployed directly through URLs.
