According to IANS, Akshay is being paid between Rs. 35 crore and Rs. 40 crore for approximately 18 to 22 days of work. However, reports indicate that Ajay is working under a profit-sharing arrangement rather than taking a larger upfront payment. Quoting IANS, “Akshay Kumar is shooting for 18-22 days, and he is getting around 35-40 crs, which is more than Ajay Devgn’s upfront fees because he is on a profit-sharing basis."

Alongside 'Golmaal 5', Akshay Kumar is preparing for the release of Welcome to the Jungle. The actor recently shared the teaser and confirmed that the film will release in cinemas on June 26, 2026.
