‘Berlin’ Season 2 Review, Slower Pace And Predictable Storyline, With Memorable Moments In Between

The wait of three years is finally over. Berlin Season 2, also titled Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine, has arrived on Netflix on May 15, 2026. A spin-off of Money Heist, the series followed a similar format in its storyline, which still managed to leave a positive impression. Just like Money Heist, emotions and a lot of other things played an important role in helping the story move forward.
Although Berlin was not renewed immediately, viewers expected a return of the series due to the success it found with Season 1. All eight episodes have now started streaming. Keep reading to know if Season 2 is a better watch than Season 1!
A few romantic angles have been added, and they are expected to hold everyone’s attention, despite not offering anything new or engaging. The subplots seem unnecessary in some scenes. However, they also work in a few other moments. But the editing work is still not bad. The use of music in some moments deserves a lot of praise, as it provides a pleasant viewing experience. Characters are expected to be backstabbed due to the hidden intentions. The use of the new themes looks interesting, and they even seem to be just stretching the show beyond a certain limit.
