Two major fire incidents in Noida and Greater Noida on Monday left people in panic. The massive fire that broke out in Shahebari Furniture Market of Greater Noida and a factory located in Noida Sector-2 took a huge turn within a short time. Black smoke rising from the fire was visible several kilometers away, creating an atmosphere of chaos in the surrounding areas. Fire department teams reached the spot and controlled the fire after hours of hard work.

Stampede in Shahebari Furniture Market

A sudden fire broke out in the furniture market located in Shahebari area of ​​Greater Noida, creating panic in the area. Within no time the fire started spreading rapidly and many shops got affected by it. The fire took a catastrophic turn within a few minutes due to the wooden and furniture items kept in the shops.

As soon as the fire broke out, the people present in the market ran to save their lives. When people nearby saw thick smoke in the sky, a huge crowd gathered at the spot. Immediately after receiving the information, several fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and the operation to extinguish the fire was started.

According to preliminary information, furniture and other items worth lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes in the fire. However, no injuries have been reported yet. This entire matter is being reported from Bisrakh police station area.

A massive fire broke out in the factory of Sector-2

The second incident came to light in a factory located in Sector-2, Noida. The goods kept in the tin shed on the third floor of the industrial unit located at C-35 of Police Station Phase-1 area suddenly caught fire. Within a short time the fire engulfed the entire floor.

Black smoke emanating from the factory became visible from a distance, due to which the people nearby got scared. As a precaution, the entire building was immediately evacuated so that there was no loss of life.

Fire department took control in time

As soon as information about the incident was received, the fire department team reached the spot. The work of extinguishing the fire was started with the help of two fire tenders. After a lot of hard work, the fire brigade personnel completely controlled the fire.

It is a matter of relief that there was no loss of life in both the incidents. However, huge economic losses are expected.

Investigation into the cause of the fire begins

Police and fire departments have now started investigating both the incidents. Initially short circuit is suspected, but officials say that the real cause of the fire will be revealed only after the investigation is completed. After the continuous incidents of fire, questions are being raised on the security arrangements in industrial and market areas.
