Bihar Police Recruitment: The Home Department of the Government of Bihar has given the green light to a massive recruitment drive and promotions for a total of 48,447 new posts within the Bihar Police. The Home Department is set to fill positions ranging from 'Sipahi' (Constable) up to 'Daroga' (Sub-Inspector) within the Bihar Police force. According to available information, 37,978 posts will be filled through direct recruitment. Meanwhile, 10,468 posts for the rank of Daroga will be filled through promotions. In this manner, a total of 48,447 positions will be filled. The highest volume of recruitment will occur for the posts of Sipahi and equivalent ranks; specifically, 22,010 positions for Sipahi and equivalent roles are to be filled, while 5,500 positions for Driver Sipahi and equivalent roles are also scheduled for recruitment.
