Prince Harry has been dealt another major blow as his popularity in the UK declines further. The 41-year-old has experienced a decline in his popularity following his decision to step away from royal life back in 2020, a move that has seen him frequently discuss his experience of royal life and launch attacks on his family members.

According to a YouGov poll, Harry's popularity has declined from 80% of fans having a positive opinion of him in June 2011 to just 31% in January 2026. A poll conducted on what would have been the late Queen Elizabeth II's 100th birthday last month, showed this now stands at 30% - a one percent decrease since the start of this year.

Just 6% voted that they have a 'very positive' opinion of him, with 24% having a 'fairly positive' view.

Meghan Markle and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor are the two royals that rank lower than him in the poll.

As of April 2026, Meghan has a 20% positive vote, whilst Andrew has a 3% positive vote.

Harry and Meghan are also said to have become increasingly unpopular in the celebrity realm, with many celebrities also thought to be turning their backs.

According to the Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "love famous people" and that they are "very name-droppy".

Speaking of the couple, a source told the publication: "The association gives them a kick. But if someone stops calling they don't ask why."

The couple moved to the US in 2020 with their son, now-seven-year-old Prince Archie.

They later welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, in June 2021.
