One of the iconic sitcoms of Indian television Sarabhai vs Sarabhai recently reunited for Sumeet Raghavan 's theatre play. Actors Rupali Ganguly , Sumeet Raghavan, Rajesh Kumar , along with the makers JD Majethia , Aatish Kapadia other members of the cast and crew, came together to watch Sumeet Raghavan’s theatre play. it was an emotional reunion.
Sharing moments from the get-together, Rupali Ganguly posted a group photo in which everyone was seen smiling brightly.
In the picture, Rupali looked pretty in a pink saree as she stood alongside Rajesh Kumar, Sumeet Raghavan, and the rest of the Sarabhai gang.
She captioned the post in Marathi as, “Hee Dosti Tutaychi Naay” (This friendship will never end)
The actress also shared a candid video with Rajesh Kumar from inside a car and wrote, “This was supposed to be posted at 8pm #sarabhaivssarabhai”
In the video, Rajesh Kumar and Rupali Ganguly were seen recreating the signature style and mannerisms of their iconic characters, Rosesh and Monisha, from Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
Sumeet Raghavan, who played Sahil Sarabhai in the show, reshared the reunion photo and wrote an emotional note remembering Satish Shah . The late actor played the character of Sumeet and Rajesh's father Indravadan Sarabhai in the cult show.
He captioned the post, “Missed our Indu... Sarabhais aren't complete without our Naradmuni. We are sure dad must be watching over us. Miss you Satish kaka”
For those unaware, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai first premiered in 2004 and later became one of the most loved and iconic family sitcoms on Indian television. The show was produced by JD Majethia and created by Aatish Kapadia. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai starred Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan, Rajesh Kumar, and Deven Bhojani in prominent roles.
Satish Shah, who immortalized the role of Indravadan Sarabhai, passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 74. As per reports, the veteran actor died in Mumbai due to kidney-related health complications .
In one of the very emotional moments during Satish Shah's funeral, the entire ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ cast gathered around his pyre and sang the show’s iconic title track while bidding their beloved co-star a final goodbye.
