Google’s new Gemini Spark AI agent
According to information shared by a user on social media platform X, Google is working on an AI agent named ‘Gemini Spark’. This AI agent will not work like other AI agents. This means that Gemini Spark is not like other AI assistants that require prompts. Gemini Spark is designed to work continuously in the background rather than waiting for manual prompts.
The user also shared a screenshot on X. As you can see in the screenshots of this Gemini Spark onboarding process, these agents can access data like connected apps, skills, chats, tasks, websites where the user is logged in, personal intelligence and location. Gemini may also share certain information with third parties, including names, contact details, files, preferences and other sensitive data.
Google gave users a big shock! A new Gmail account will only get 15GB if not that much storage
As can be confirmed from the screenshot, Gemini Spark is an experimental feature, it is hoped that this AI agent will take permission before doing sensitive work. But in some situations, AI can also do things like share information or make purchases without an agent asking. Users are advised to monitor the Agent and not rely on it for professional assistance such as medical, legal or financial. Gemini Spark saves remote browser data, including login credentials and remote code execution. Google says that users will be able to clear this data by going to Settings and turn off connected apps or other features.
