Ranchi University Apprenticeship 2026: In Which Departments (Posts) Will Training Be Provided?
Under this apprenticeship program, seats have been allocated across various categories and departments, enabling students to acquire skills aligned with their specific interests:
- Administration: This category holds the highest number of seats, where training in administrative tasks will be provided in proportion to the total number of available positions.
- Accounts Section: Here, trainees will gain experience in tasks related to financial transactions and bookkeeping.
- Lab Assistant: Young candidates will also be selected to serve as assistants in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Computer laboratories.
- Library: Training will be provided in book maintenance and general library management.
Ranchi University Apprenticeship 2026: Who is eligible to apply?
- Only those students who have successfully completed their graduation examinations between the years 2021 and 2025 are eligible to apply for this apprenticeship.
- Upon receiving the applications, the University will scrutinize all submitted forms. Subsequently, a shortlist of candidates will be prepared based on the marks and percentage secured in their graduation examinations. No separate entrance examination will be conducted.
- Candidates whose names appear on the shortlist will be summoned to the University for document verification. If any discrepancies or inaccuracies are found in a candidate's documents, their application will be summarily rejected.
Monthly Stipend of ₹12,000 and an Experience Certificate
Upon selection for this apprenticeship (Ranchi University Apprenticeship 2026), students will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,000 for a period of one year. Of this amount, ₹7,500 will be contributed by the Government of Jharkhand, while ₹4,500 will be provided by Ranchi University.
This entire program constitutes an integral part of the 'National Apprenticeship Training Scheme' (NATS). Upon the successful completion of the one-year training period, all participating students will be awarded a Certificate of Work Experience, which will significantly enhance their prospects of securing a desirable job in any government or private institution in the future.
