The Madhya Pradesh government held a review meeting to assess selected programs and schemes across various departments, with a focus on administrative efficiency and public welfare measures. During the meeting, directions were issued to ensure the availability of drinking water for all during the summer season, with emphasis on monitoring the situation at gram panchayat and ward levels.

Officials were also asked to promote water conservation among citizens. As part of this effort, a campaign titled ‘From Janmabhoomi to Karmabhoomi’ is set to be launched to encourage public participation in water-saving initiatives. In a separate decision aimed at supporting farmers, the government directed a reduction in mandi fees for cotton in the Khargone and Burhanpur regions. The fee has been lowered from ₹1 to 55 paise. The meeting also included a review of ongoing innovations and new schemes in the agriculture sector.

On the administrative front, biometric attendance—described as an initiative with positive feedback so far—will now be implemented across all government offices in the state. The move is expected to streamline attendance tracking and improve accountability.

The meeting further highlighted the need to expedite the free registry of settlement land in rural areas by running it as a campaign. Officials have been directed to ensure proper execution of these initiatives in the coming months.
