The couple publicly revealed their relationship in October 2025. Fonseca was still seen supporting Vinicius at the Bernabeu during Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Oviedo on May 14. Just days earlier, the pair had attended an event alongside former Madrid defender Marcelo, according to Mark.

However, on May 15, Fonseca released a statement on social media confirming the separation. The 27-year-old influencer, who is one year older than Vinicius and boasts over 55 million Instagram followers, explained that she had invested heavily in the relationship but ultimately understood her own boundaries.

“I always allowed myself to be authentic, fearless, without calculation, and to constantly be myself,” Fonseca wrote.

She elaborated on the reasons for the breakup, noting that she had learned not to compromise on essential matters.

“Over time, I learned that there are things that cannot be compromised,” she continued. “When a relationship no longer has meaning, I choose maturity to end it rather than continue in a place where I no longer belong.”

At the end of the post, Fonseca sent her best wishes to the footballer.

“Today, we choose to respect each other and move on with our own paths. I wish Vinicius much happiness and success,” she wrote.

Fonseca began her career creating lifestyle and beauty videos before expanding into the cosmetics business and entertainment production. She was married to singer Ze Felipe, son of famous Brazilian singer Leonardo, from 2021 until their divorce in 2025. They share three children, including a daughter named Maria Flor.

Vinicius, born in 2000 in Sao Goncalo, was recognized early as a football prodigy of Brazil. He joined Flamengo at age 10 and made his first-team debut at 16. In 2018, he moved to Real Madrid for $50 million, a record fee for a teenager at the time.

At Real Madrid, Vinicius gradually established himself as a top player. He played a major role in helping the team win two Champions League titles, three La Liga trophies, three Spanish Super Cup titles, one Copa del Rey, two UEFA Super Cup titles, one FIFA Club World Cup and one Intercontinental Cup.

Currently under contract until 2027, Vinicius’s future at Madrid remains a question. The forward is reportedly being monitored by several Premier League giants and previously received a record-breaking $1 billion offer from a Saudi Pro League team.
