Azam Khan: The troubles of senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan seem to be increasing. The court held MP-MLA guilty in the case of objectionable remarks on DM. The court has sentenced Azam to two years of imprisonment. Rampur court has sentenced SP leader Azam Khan to two years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 20,000 for making objectionable remarks on the then DM.

The court has convicted the SP leader in the case of his controversial statement regarding officials in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, “They are pensioners, I will get them to clean their shoes”. On Saturday, May 16, MP MLA Court gave this decision. Rampur’s MP MLA special court magistrate trial Mr. Shobhit Bansal’s court has declared Azam Khan guilty.
SP leader Azam Khan, who is facing more than 100 cases, has so far got relief in 11 cases, while he has been sentenced in 6 cases. At present Azam Khan is lodged in Rampur District Jail along with his son Abdullah Azam Khan. Action has been taken against both of them in two PAN card cases and they are in jail in this case.
