While addressing the people of the Indian community in The Hague, Netherlands, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big warning to the whole world about the looming energy crisis and the dangers of war at the global level. PM Modi warned in clear words that due to continuous wars and global instability, the development achieved in the last several decades can be completely reversed. Because of this, a large population of the world may again sink into the quagmire of extreme poverty. However, amidst this crisis, PM Modi also trumpeted India’s unmatched and historic achievements on the global stage.
Pandemic, war and now energy crisis: Old achievements may come to an end
Expressing deep concern over the current situation in the world, PM Modi said that today many big and serious challenges are facing the entire humanity. First the whole world struggled with the Corona epidemic, then destructive wars started between many countries and now the whole world is facing a terrible energy crisis.
He said that this decade is proving to be a period of disasters for the entire world. PM Modi said in a warning tone that if this scary situation does not change soon, then all the progress and achievements that have been achieved in the last decades can be lost. Its worst impact will be on the poor population and a large part of the world will again fall into the cruel trap of poverty.
India raised the flag of progress, laid fiber 11 times more than the distance of the moon
After mentioning the global challenges, PM Modi made India realize its strength. Giving the example of the country’s shining progress, he said that in the last few years, India has achieved a pace of development which is difficult to even imagine. India has laid an optical fiber network across the country that is 11 times longer than the distance between the Earth and the Moon.
Reminding the mobile revolution, PM Modi said that just a decade ago we used to import mobile phones from other countries, but today India has become the second largest mobile manufacturing country in the world. Today, India is recognized in the world as an ‘Innovation Power’ and the Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) created by us is being praised in every corner of the world.
Flight of Indian youth: Now the country needs the best and fastest
Speaking among NRIs, PM Modi said that today’s new India is dreaming big and is also fulfilling them. Now the country is not satisfied with just small changes, but today’s India demands that everything should be ‘best’ and ‘fastest’. When the aspirations of the youth of the country are limitless, the efforts of the government have also become completely limitless.
He said that today the youth of India want to touch the sky and the country is going through an unprecedented transformation. The biggest proof of this is that the world’s largest and most successful AI Summit was successfully organized by India and before this the entire world had also saluted the success of the historic G-20 Summit.
India’s big bang in the world of startups and semiconductors
Praising the changing mood of the youth of the country, PM Modi said that today startups have settled in every fiber of the youth of India. About 12 years ago, there used to be less than 500 startups in our country, but today this figure has jumped to more than two lakhs. While in the year 2014, there were only four unicorn startups in the whole of India, today around 125 unicorns have established their presence in the country. In the year 2025 alone, about 44 thousand new startups have been registered within the country. Today our youth are showing their strength to the world in the most advanced sectors like AI, defense and space.
Along with this, PM Modi said that this wonderful culture of research and innovation in India is becoming bigger with time. This can be gauged from the fact that more than lakhs of patents have been filed in India last year. Now India is also taking big steps forward in chip making and semiconductor sector. At present, 12 semiconductor plants are working at full strength in India, out of which chip production has also started in two plants. PM Modi proudly said that now even the modern chips used in the world will be ‘Designed India, Made in India’, which is the biggest proof of the inexhaustible innovation of Indians.
