As a filmmaker, Dileesh Pothan has delivered acclaimed titles such as 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram', 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum', and 'Joji' and all of these films were appreciated for their rooted storytelling and execution.

Antony Perumbavoor confirms the projectReports about a Mohanlal–Dileesh Pothan collaboration had been circulating for some time. The project has now been officially confirmed by producer Antony Perumbavoor.

As reported by Reporter website, Antony shared the update while interacting with fans on X.

According to the latest reports from Sacnilk, 'Patriot' is inching slowly towards Rs 80 cr worldwide collections, which is not quite impressive, considering the huge star cast involved. The movie featured Mohanlal, Mammootty, Nayanthara, Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, and Darshana Rajendran in pivotal roles.
