Even though rains have entered, heat wave conditions still persist in many places of the country. In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Maharashtra’s Ambarati reached 45.6 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the minimum temperature in Assam’s Haflung was ১১১ degrees Celsius. According to the forecast of the Assam Department, heat wave conditions may continue in many areas of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. There is a possibility of increased heat and discomfort in South Bengal also in the next few days.

There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Andaman-Nicobar Islands, North Bengal and Sikkim, मौसम भावन said. Also, heavy rainfall has been predicted in various parts of Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

There is a possibility of rough sea along Kerala coast, Arabian Sea, South Bengali Sea and Andaman Sea. Wind can blow at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour. Fishermen have been advised not to go into the sea.
