New Delhi: Atlee and wife Priya Atlee have officially revealed the name of their newborn daughter. The couple shared the heartwarming update on social media on Sunday, introducing their baby girl as Miyou.

The filmmaker posted a joint announcement featuring a close-up picture of the infant’s tiny hand. The image also carried the emotional message, “A tiny person with the biggest place in our hearts.”

Sharing the post, Jawan director Atlee wrote, “Our art of love now has a name… MIYOU — beauty, gentleness & love. With luv, MEER, PRIYA & ATLEE.”

The couple had announced the arrival of their daughter on April 20 this year with a special family-themed poster. The announcement included an illustration of their son Meer alongside the line, “Yay! I’ve got a baby sister!”

The poster also read, “We, Priya and Atlee are blessed with a baby girl. April 20, 2026.” Before that, the pair had shared news of their second pregnancy in January.

Atlee and Priya Atlee got married in 2014 in a traditional ceremony, which was attended by close friends and family members, after dating for several years. They welcomed their first child, Meer, in January 2023.

On the professional front, Atlee is currently working on his upcoming directorial venture, Raaka. The film stars Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

Backed by Sun Pictures, the large-scale action thriller is reportedly mounted as a fantasy sci-fi drama with themes of reincarnation and extensive visual effects.

According to the film’s synopsis on IMDb, the story revolves around a divine warrior who rises to restore balance to a universe threatened by chaos and destruction.

The announcement about Miyou has meanwhile received warm wishes from fans and members of the film industry across social media.
