CID joins probe into Shivananad Neelannavar case in Belagavi

Belagavi: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has joined the investigation into the case involving Shivananad Neelannavar, who was arrested for allegedly collecting crores of rupees from the public.
CID DIG Bhimashankar Guled arrived in Belagavi and began examining records related to the case as part of the investigation.
Before starting the inquiry, he met Belagavi City Police Commissioner Gulabrao Bhushan Borse and held discussions regarding the probe.
Meanwhile, police produced Shivananad Neelannavar before a judge, and the court granted police custody of the accused for five days.
