After multiple delays, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups went from being one of the films that could give serious competition to one that people are now hoping at least gets a confirmed release date. Initially, the movie was supposed to give some serious competition to Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

Its release date went from mid-March to early June, and now, it is stuck in limbo with no official confirmed date for its release. However, Yash has full faith in his movie.

In an interview with Variety India, Yash talked about the constant delays that Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups has been facing. He admitted that rushing would only make things a lot worse and more complicated. Instead, taking one’s time and letting it play out properly is what makes sense to him, now.

“Right now I’ve taken a decision of taking my time and releasing this film. That is really something my fans or people in India will not like. They’ll be upset because culturally you’re used to, like once you start shooting the film, there is a timeline in their head. And unfortunately, marketing happens even if you don’t want to. The moment we start shooting, people start writing about it.”

“In the West, everything starts when you finish the film. If somebody wants to buy the film or if somebody wants to be part of the film, they want to see the film because huge money is involved. Those are the things which is a challenge, but I think I have faith in my people, so they understand what we are trying to do is something what we all should do.”

Due to how globally widespread the movie is meant to be, they have to cater to the West’s requirements as well. Distributors require a finished product to make a decision. To simultaneously release it within India and outside, finishing the movie and then making a big decision is what they’ve settled on.
