Tesco is getting rid of a popular meal deal item that customers have loved. The deals are an essential lunch option for a huge amount of Brits. From a classic ham sandwich to a pasta pot or even sushi - there's a huge range on offer.
But now, after just a couple of months on shelves, Tesco's Pork Pie Inspired Sandwich has left stores. It had a trial run in around 1,000 stores after arriving in early March. But the sandwich was never planned to be a permanent addition, it was only scheduled to be on sale for 10 weeks.
The British sandwich featured sliced pork pie meat with cheddar cheese and piccalilli, reports The Sun.

Despite not being a traditional sandwich, it gained fans, with one calling it "delicious."
The launch of this sandwich came after it was revealed nearly a third of Brits aged between 18 and 24 had never tried a traditional pork pie.
Tesco says there has been a 3% increase in sales in pork pies in the past year.
This is not the only sandwich that Tesco has launched that's different to the usual.
It has also previously launched birthday cake sandwiches, and a ham, egg and chips inspired sandwich.
Dave Nicholls, buying manager of food to go at Tesco, said at the time of the launch: "We know the nation loves a pork pie, which is why we've developed this new Pork Pie Inspired Sandwich.
"Bringing together classic flavours like piccalilli, cheddar and mustard, it's a delicious addition to our Meal Deal range, perfectly timed for the start of picnic season or a great way to try something new for lunch."
Brits will no longer be able to get their hands on the sandwich as there are currently no plans for it to return to stores.
