The emergency services have closed two streets in Manchester city centre this evening following an incident. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) says officers are currently responding to a road traffic collision on Great Ducie Street at the junction of Trinity Way, beside the Manchester College.
Members of the public are being urged to avoid the area. Officers from GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are in attendance conducting investigations, alongside police and paramedics.
A spokesperson for GMP said: "Officers are currently responding to a road traffic collision on Great Ducie Street at the junction of Trinity Way. Road closures are in place so we would ask that people avoid the area where possible.Thank you for your patience at this time."
