Rauta is a small village in Saharsa district of Bihar. Many dreams bloom in the soil here, but there are very few resources to move ahead. Mayank Singh, a student of this simple village and studying only in 10th class, has done such a feat that today the whole country is praising him for his bravery. Mayank did something with limited resources that the world’s leading tech company Samsung itself had to bow before him and make him their business partner.
Mayank’s father Mukesh Singh does a small job in a private company. The financial condition of the family is so simple that sometimes even the household needs are met with great difficulty. In such a situation, even thinking about an expensive laptop or computer for studies was like a beautiful dream for Mayank. But Mayank had such a tremendous passion for technology in his heart that he never allowed his poverty and circumstances to become his weakness.
When laptop and computer were not found, smartphone was made a weapon
People often complain about lack of resources, but Mayank proved this completely wrong. Mayank did not have any computer, he just had a simple ‘Samsung Galaxy A22’ smartphone. Mayank’s daily routine is also like that of ordinary village children – going to school during the day, helping in the fields with his family in the evening. But his real story started at night, when he used to learn coding for hours on the small screen of his mobile after the whole world went to sleep.
Many times his eyes started hurting due to staying awake all night, the internet speed used to be slow in the village, but Mayank’s courage never wavered. Without any teacher, he learned Android App Development, web designing and creating basic software projects only on the basis of YouTube tutorials, online forums and the limited capacity of his phone. Within no time Mayank gained mastery in the world of coding.
Coding in the light of lantern and got the big title of ‘Global Innovator’
Seeing this amazing talent of Mayank, his family members and the people of the village were also surprised. Even when there was a power cut in the village, he would save his phone’s battery and keep coding in the dark. Gradually the software projects created by Mayank started going viral on social media. People were stunned to see how a boy from a backward village could do so much with just a mobile phone without a computer.
One day this unique talent of Mayank came to the notice of Samsung, one of the largest tech companies in the world. Saluting Mayank’s extraordinary hard work and talent, Samsung officially declared him as its ‘Business Partner’. Along with this, the company has also honored Mayank with the very prestigious title of ‘Global Innovator 2026’. This historic achievement has become a matter of great pride not only for Mayank and his family, but also for the entire Rauta village and Saharsa district of Bihar.
Mayank became a role model for millions of youth of the country.
In today’s era, where most of the youth and students leave their dreams incomplete by making the excuse of lack of resources, Mayank has set a new example in front of the world. He proved that if the intentions are strong and the determination to achieve something is true, then even with a simple smartphone in hand, one can make an indelible mark at the global level. This struggle-filled and inspiring journey of Mayank is a ray of new hope for millions of youth of the country, who dream big but succumb to the lack of facilities.
