Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani made a big announcement from Saran district of Bihar on Sunday. During the program organized at Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital located in Mastichak, he said that Rs 50 to 60 thousand crores will be invested in Bihar in the next two to three years. Preeti Adani was also present on this occasion.

This was not just an announcement of investment but also a big plan to strengthen health, education and infrastructure. In the program, an initiative to provide modern eye treatment facilities to rural areas was started.

Modern eye care will reach villages

‘Adani Center for Eye Diseases’ and ‘Adani Training Center for Ophthalmic Sciences’ will be established under the joint initiative of Adani Foundation and Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital. The objective of this project is to provide affordable and better eye treatment to the people living in rural and backward areas including Bihar.

The most special thing about this scheme is that preparations are being made to develop it as the world’s largest rural eye care network. Health services will be delivered to the village level with the help of mobile medical units, modern technology and expert doctors. Lakhs of people are expected to benefit from this.

Bihar was described as the land of opportunities

In his address, Gautam Adani also praised the culture and heritage of Bihar. He said that he experienced spiritual peace after reaching Mastichak and Gayatri temples. Describing Bihar as a land of talent and opportunities, he said that in the coming times the group will also work on a large scale in the field of education. He indicated that work will also be done on projects to schools, colleges and skill development. It is clear from this that Adani Group does not want to be limited to just industries, but also wants to contribute to social development.

Many big projects already running in Bihar

Adani Group is already working on many big projects in Bihar. A 2400 MW ultra-supercritical thermal power plant is being built at Peerpainti in Bhagalpur district. The cost of this project is said to be around Rs 26,482 crore. Apart from this, work on Sultanganj-Sabour road project is also going on at a fast pace.
