Through computerized and telecommunication systems, expert doctors in Mumbai will perform complex stroke treatment procedures remotely with the help of medical teams in rural hospitals. KEM Senior Hybrid Neurosurgeon Dr. Under the guidance of Nitin Dange, preliminary testing and planning of this project is underway. Out of the 11 cath labs that the health department is starting in the state, it is planned to start this facility on a pilot basis at five centers.
