Skoda’s May Discounts: Old Kodiaq Stock Gets 3.5 Lakh Off, Kylaq Gets Rs. 65,000 Off

Skoda’s May 2026 discount structure is the most detailed across any single brand this month, and the model year of the car you are buying makes a larger difference than the model itself.

The headline number is Rs 3.5 lakh on older Kodiaq units, but the story across the four-model line-up requires unpacking before you decide which Skoda to walk into a showroom for.

Starting with the Kodiaq, Skoda’s flagship five to seven-seat SUV priced from Rs 39.99 lakh to Rs 46.49 lakh ex-showroom. MY25 units get a cash discount of Rs 2 lakh, an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000, and a corporate or loyalty benefit of Rs 1 lakh, totalling Rs 3.5 lakh. MY26 units, which is the current ADAS-equipped version reviewed last week, carry lower benefits: a cash discount of Rs 50,000 and an exchange bonus plus corporate benefit of Rs 50,000 each, totalling up to Rs 1.5 lakh.

The distinction matters because an MY26 Kodiaq with ADAS is a meaningfully different and more complete car than the MY25 unit that launched without those systems.

If the MY25 stock is still available at your dealership, Rs 2 lakh in straight cash discount is a real saving on a car that is still fundamentally the same drivetrain. If not, the MY26 is still available at up to Rs 1.5 lakh off.

facelift

The Kushaq facelift, launched in early 2026 with updated styling and revised variant structure, priced from Rs 10.69 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh, receives the most modest benefits in Skoda’s May line-up.

MY26 facelift units get only an exchange bonus of up to Rs 20,000 and a corporate or loyalty benefit of Rs 20,000, totalling Rs 40,000, with no direct cash discount.

Compare that to old pre-facelift MY25 Kushaq units still on dealership lots, which carry a Rs 2 lakh cash discount, a Rs 50,000 exchange bonus, and a Rs 50,000 corporate benefit, totalling Rs 3 lakh. If you are not particular about the new fascia and updated interior of the facelift, the outgoing Kushaq at Rs 3 lakh off is the sharper buy.

skoda kylaq front

The Kylaq, Skoda’s sub-4-metre SUV priced from Rs 7.59 lakh and Skoda’s highest-volume model since its launch a year ago, gets benefits of up to Rs 65,000 on MY25 and early MY26 units, split as a Rs 50,000 cash discount, Rs 10,000 exchange bonus, and Rs 15,000 corporate benefit.

Newer stock gets a Rs 40,000 cash discount with the same exchange and corporate components, totalling around Rs 65,000. The difference between model years on the Kylaq is smaller than on the Kushaq or Kodiaq, which makes May a reasonable time to buy regardless of which stock your dealership has.

Skoda Slavia sedan

The Slavia midsize sedan, priced from Rs 11.39 lakh, gets up to Rs 1.4 lakh on older automatic MY25 and early MY26 stock, combining a Rs 40,000 cash discount, Rs 50,000 exchange bonus, and Rs 50,000 corporate benefit.

Manual variants get up to Rs 1.25 lakh in total. Newer Slavia units carry lower benefits, with the cash component dropping to Rs 25,000 on automatics and Rs 10,000 on manuals.

The consistent pattern across all four models is simple: older stock delivers the largest savings, and the newer the car, the smaller the benefit. Confirm which model year your dealership holds before negotiating.
