An important meeting was organized by Akhil Bharatiya Jagran Sudhar Mandal, Patiala Punjab, Duddhi-Sonbhadra unit on Sunday, 17 May 2026 under the Tehsil area. In the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding giving better direction to social and cultural programs and maintaining discipline in Jagran and tableau programs.
Sanjay Singh, who was present as the chief guest in the meeting, while addressing the artists and officials, said that it is everyone’s responsibility to maintain the dignity of religious and cultural tableaux. He clearly said that no artist or person should participate in the tableau program by consuming liquor. This sends a wrong message to the society and tarnishes the image of religious programs.
State Vice President Balbir Singh also addressed the meeting and said that if any person is found doing tableau after drinking alcohol, he will be ostracized from the tableau society. He said that Jagran and Jhanki programs are a symbol of reverence, devotion and social unity, hence it is mandatory for all the artists to follow discipline and decorum.
During the meeting, strengthening the organization, keeping the artists united and the outline of upcoming programs were also discussed. The people present took a pledge to follow the rules of the organization and spread positive messages in the society. After this, all the post officers came together and were given posts with mutual consent in which Duddhi Tehsil President Satyendra Kumar Gupta, Gulshan Patel Vice President Duddhi Tehsil, Gauri Shankar Information Minister Duddhi Tehsil, Abhishek Gupta Legal Advisor Duddhi Tehsil, Nitesh Media Incharge Duddhi Tehsil were appointed.
