Passengers flying with Cathay Pacific will need to arrive at boarding gates earlier starting June 1, after the Hong Kong flag carrier announced changes to its boarding procedures.
In a statement issued on May 14, the airline said boarding gates for all Cathay Pacific flights will close 15 minutes before departure, five minutes earlier than the current policy, the South China Morning Post reported.
The carrier also said boarding for flights departing from Hong Kong International Airport will begin five minutes earlier to allow for a smoother departure process.
