The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a felicitation programme to recognize party workers who had participated in the party’s election campaign activities in West Bengal. The event, described as an “Abhinandan Samarooh,” was attended by several senior BJP leaders and office bearers.

Among those present at the programme were Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, BJP National General Secretary and West Bengal in-charge Sunil Bansal, and Delhi BJP Organization General Secretary Pawan Rana. Party leaders acknowledged the role of workers from Delhi who had travelled to West Bengal during the election campaign period to assist in organizational and outreach efforts.

During the event, BJP leaders highlighted the contribution of grassroots workers in election management, campaigning, and public engagement. References were also made to the ideological influence of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on the party’s organizational structure and functioning.

The gathering focused on the role of party workers in strengthening the BJP’s election machinery and expanding political outreach across states. Leaders at the programme said that workers from different districts and organizational units in Delhi took part in campaign-related activities in West Bengal.

The event also included remarks on the BJP’s national leadership, with party representatives attributing electoral successes to coordinated organizational strategies and volunteer participation. Workers attending the programme were commended for their campaign efforts and commitment during the election process.

The felicitation ceremony reflected the party’s continued emphasis on cadre-based political mobilization and the recognition of workers involved in election campaigns outside their home states.
