Hyderabad: Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy on Monday, May 18, said his counterparts in Congress-ruled states and other senior party leaders would work together to realise their common goal of making Rahul Gandhi the PM.
Reddy, who attended the swearing-in ceremony of V D Satheesan as Kerala Chief Minister in Thiruvananthapuram, met his Himachal Pradesh counterpart Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, and other leaders.
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was also present on the occasion.
In a post on X, Reddy said it felt like a “reunion of friends and colleagues” when the leaders arrived in Kerala. He also shared photos of the moment.
“The hope, energy and enthusiasm are palpable in the air. The same energy will strengthen as we all work together for our biggest common goal—the day when our leader Shri @RahulGandhi ji takes oath as Prime Minister of India,” he said.
Satheesan took oath as Kerala CM, with Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administering the oath of office.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, among others, attended the ceremony.
CMs of Congress-ruled states, former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Left leaders, and BJP representatives were also present.
