Sara Ali Khan does not seem to be in any rush to get married, even as many of her peers have already settled down. The actress, who has recently been in the news due to dating rumours with a non-actor, appears to be taking things at her own pace. In a recent interview, she spoke openly about choosing patience over pressure and focusing on her own growth rather than feeling the need to find a partner anytime soon.
Sara Ali Khan says marriages can go wrong, wants to wait for the right person
In a conversation with News18, the actress said, “You are a product of your experiences and what you see around you. At the risk of being too serious, I’ve seen that marriages can also go wrong. Toh usse better hai ki aap wait karo aur sahi bande ke saath shaadi karo. And when that happens, that will be the correct time. I think that’s the most important thing. I’ve what it takes to be okay [without being married]. I don’t feel the need to be completed. I’m not looking to be completed”.
Sara Ali Khan says she is a green flag, wants to be complete within herself
For now, Sara is focused on her career and does not want anything to distract her from it. She told, "I want to be a complete human being within myself. And then if I find somebody to celebrate me, cherish me and make me feel even better, that's fine. Looking for this missing piece in you in somebody else isn't a sustainable thing. You shouldn't do that. And right now, I want to work. Meanwhile, if the right person has to come, they will. I really do believe that jaldi ka kaam shaitaan ka hota hai. So, I try to not rush these things." When asked if she thought she could be a red flag to her partner, she had a confident and honest answer. "I think I can get into my own head sometimes. But that's internal, I don't think it will affect the other person. Other than that, I'm a green flag," she said.
