SBI Recruitment 2026: The State Bank of India has invited applications for the recruitment of 821 Concurrent Auditor positions. Interested candidates may apply online at sbi.bank.in until June 11, 2026.

The State Bank of India has issued a new recruitment notification specifically for retired bank officers. SBI has initiated the application process for 821 Concurrent Auditor posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 821 vacancies will be filled. The application process commenced on May 14, and candidates have until June 11, 2026, to submit their applications.

Only retired bank officers possessing prior work experience in the Credit, Audit, or Forex departments are eligible to apply for this recruitment. According to the Bank, it is mandatory for candidates to have retired under the regular superannuation scheme at the age of 60 years. Officers who left the service earlier due to voluntary retirement, resignation, or any other reason will not be eligible to apply. However, officers who opted for Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) after completing 30 years of service and attaining the age of 58 years will be permitted to apply upon reaching the age of 60.

How the Selection Process Will Work

The recruitment process involves the selection of candidates through a combination of shortlisting and interviews; merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call. The Bank’s Selection Committee will prepare a list of candidates based on established parameters. Subsequently, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interview will carry a total weightage of 100 marks, and the final merit list will be prepared based on these scores. In the event that two candidates secure identical scores, preference will be given to the older candidate.

Monthly Salary Details

The State Bank of India has fixed the monthly salary for candidates selected under the Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026 based on their respective retirement grades. The salary offered by the bank will be distinct from the candidate’s pension and will have no bearing whatsoever on the pension. According to the bank’s notification, officers retiring from the MMGS III grade will receive a monthly payment of ₹45,000. Meanwhile, officers in the SMGS IV grade will receive a monthly salary of ₹50,000. Candidates in the SMGS V grade will be paid ₹65,000 per month, while officers retiring from the TEGS VI grade will receive ₹80,000 every month.
