The gown also subtly referenced the Vietnamese “Ao Dai”. Built on a classic western ball gown silhouette, the design incorporated elements of the traditional garment to express softness and understated elegance.
Within “The Golden Branch and Jade Leaf” collection, the dress reflected Huy’s creative vision of translating traditional cultural values into modern haute couture. Rather than recreating heritage through nostalgia, the collection reinterprets it through a softer, more minimalist, and globally resonant lens.
