Many speculations were made and netizens were excited about the possibility of another Bollywood meets Cricket couple. But, looks like the rumours may be false as Sreeleela’s mother has turned down all reports and revealed that the actress is busy preparing for NEET-PG.
Sreeleela not dating Tilak Varma, claims actress’ momAfter rumours of Sreeleela dating Tilak Varma started doing the rounds on the internet, netizens were quick to get talking and find viral clues. However, the actor’s team and her mother, Dr Swarnalatha, have strongly denied such rumours.
Her team informed Pinkvilla, “The rumours surrounding Tilak Varma and Sreeleela are completely baseless and untrue. The two have never even met or spoken to each other. There is absolutely no truth to these speculations, and such fabricated stories should not be circulated without any factual basis.”
Her mother, Dr Swarnalatha, spoke to Deccan Chronicle and called the rumours a ‘figment of imagination’, “These rumours are absolutely false and have no truth in them. We do not know how such stories emerge. There is not even an iota of truth in reports claiming that Sreeleela and Tilak Varma have been seeing each other for the past year. It is purely a figment of imagination.”

Sreeleela's mother also revealed that the actress is currently prepping for her NEET-PG exams in June, "She is preparing for her NEET-PG examination scheduled in June. Right now, her concentration is entirely on studies and films. She has another five to six years ahead for such personal matters and is balancing both academics and career very well.”
On the work front for SreeleelaSreeleela began her acting journey at a young age with minor roles before rising to prominence. One of her most notable films, Bhagavanth Kesari, went on to win Best Feature Film in Telugu at the 71st National Film Awards.

Sreeleela is currently preparing for her Bollywood debut opposite Kartik Aaryan. While the film was initially scheduled for a December 2025 release, due to multiple reasons, the timeline has been delayed. As per Siasat, with most of the work still pending, the film is unlikely to be released before 2027.
