Ruturaj Gaikwad, the CSK captain, provided insights into Dhoni's condition ahead of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. After winning the toss, he confirmed that while Dhoni was present with the team, he was not fit enough to play.

"MS is still here, but he is not fit enough to play this game," Gaikwad stated during the toss, addressing the fans at Chepauk.
