Mumbai, May 18: Recent leaks have unveiled enticing specifications for the upcoming OnePlus Ace 7, expected to be launched alongside the OnePlus 16 in China. According to a post by DCS on Weibo, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. The refresh rate is anticipated to be a minimum of 185Hz, with potential peaks reaching up to 240Hz.
The OnePlus Ace 7 is also set to include a substantial 9,000mAh battery, supporting 100W fast charging. Interestingly, the prototype reportedly comes with a cooling fan, although it remains uncertain if this feature will be included in the final retail version.
While details about the camera specifications are scarce, it is speculated that the Ace 7 may not prioritize a versatile camera setup, focusing instead on performance. The previous model, the OnePlus Ace 6, featured a 16-megapixel front camera and a dual-camera system with 50-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors. It is likely that the Ace 7 will retain a similar configuration with minor upgrades.
As the OnePlus Ace 6 was exclusive to the Chinese market, it is still unclear whether the Ace 7 will be available outside of China.
