Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann bowed his head at Takht Sri Patna Sahib, won hearts with this statement

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today paid obeisance at the sacred birthplace of Dashmesh Pita Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Charan-Choh Dharti Takht Shri Harimander Ji Patna Sahib.

CM Mann bowed to Patna Saheb 

During this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjab has shown the entire country the way to protect the respect of Guru Sahiban by making the strictest law against sacrilege. Praying for the prosperity, prosperity and well-being of Punjab, Punjabis and the entire Sikh Sangat, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann thanked Guru Sahib for giving Punjab the privilege of enacting a strict law against sacrilege to preserve the sanctity and dignity of the sacred word Guru.

Describing sacrilege as an unforgivable crime against the faith of crores of people, the Chief Minister appealed to all the state governments across the country to bring similar strict laws. He said that Punjab is ready to provide all possible help in this regard.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann further said that any person who dares to disrespect Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Punjab will now have to spend his entire life in jail. He gave a strong message that any action that hurts religious sentiments will no longer be tolerated.

Sharing some pictures on his X handle, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that today I had the privilege of paying obeisance at the sacred birthplace of the tenth Patshah Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Charan-Chhoh Dharti Takht Shri Harimander Ji Patna Sahib.

CM Mann gave this big statement 

CM Mann said, “I bowed my head before Guru Sahib and prayed for the prosperity, well-being and ever-growing art of Punjab, Punjabis and the entire Sikh Sangat. I thank Guru Sahib wholeheartedly for giving us the privilege of maintaining the sanctity of the holy word Guru by giving us an opportunity to make strict laws against sacrilege.” He wrote, “May Guru Sahib shower his blessings and blessings on everyone.”

After paying obeisance, the Chief Minister said, “I had the privilege of paying obeisance at Takht Sri Harimander Ji (Patna Sahib), the holy birthplace of Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. By offering obeisance in the divine presence of Guru Sahib, I prayed for the well-being, health and ever-acquiring art of Punjab, Punjabis and the entire Sikh community across the world.”

The Chief Minister said that not only Sikhs, but every human being gets strength and inspiration from this holy land blessed by our great Gurus. Guru Sahib’s teachings inspire humanity to follow the path of truth, compassion and universal brotherhood. CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “I prayed that the bonds of mutual unity, peace and brotherhood in the state should become stronger and Punjab should continue to lead the country in every field.”

Seek blessings from Almighty God  

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann further said that I sought blessings from Almighty God to serve the people of the state with full dedication and commitment to live up to their expectations. The Chief Minister said, “After paying obeisance at this holy land, I am feeling a new and unique energy. This journey has filled me with new enthusiasm and courage to serve the people of Punjab with missionary zeal.”

Heartily thanking Guru Sahib, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjab has shown the way to the entire country in safeguarding the respect of Guru Sahib by making strict laws against sacrilege. He said, “Guru Sahib has given us the service of making strict laws against sacrilege. It is the moral duty of all of us to maintain the sanctity and dignity of the sacred word Guru.”

The Chief Minister reiterated that the Punjab Government is fully committed to upholding the dignity of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and ensuring strict punishment to anyone trying to hurt the religious sentiments of the people. He expressed hope that Guru Sahib will continue to shower his immense blessings and blessings on everyone and lead Punjab towards the path of greater prosperity, peace and Rangala Punjab. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was accompanied by Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha was also present.
