Auto-Delete Chats feature can be found in Siri

Which simply means that users will be able to decide whether their conversations are saved for 30 days, 1 year or forever. This feature is being prepared like the Messages app. It is also believed in the information that Apple will keep user privacy on top even with AI features. This is why the company is constantly trying to strike a balance between data security and AI.

New Siri will give experience like ChatGPT

It is being said in the information that Apple is also preparing a new standalone Siri app. Which will be quite different from the existing Siri and will give users a chatbot experience like ChatGPT or Gemini. It is being told that the new Siri will be able to understand more complex questions and multi-step queries easily. Which is not able to answer many advanced questions at present. Apple is now working on developing its own strong AI system.

Search or Ask feature will make a big change

It is also being claimed in the report that the company is also going to introduce a new shortcut feature named Search or Ask. It can be used by swiping from top to bottom on the screen. It is likely that users will be able to decide whether old chats appear as soon as they open the app or whether a new conversation starts every time. After this special change, Siri will not be made just a voice assistant but a full AI chat platform.

When will the new Siri be launched?

According to the information revealed so far, the first glimpse of the new Siri can be shown in the Worldwide Developers Conference 2026 i.e. WWDC 2026 and common users will get this feature with the iOS 27 update which will be launched with the new iPhone models coming in September.
