Many people have a habit of constantly posting and sharing new stories on the social media platform Instagram. Some people share 10 to 12 stories a day. But if something goes wrong with a story, you have to delete the entire story and share it again. This becomes boring for many users. Are you also one of those users? So there is good news for you. Instagram is currently testing a feature. This new feature will be rolled out for users soon.

Users will get this new feature

Till now, when something went wrong with a story, you had to delete the entire story and share it again. But this will not happen now. Because now Instagram is working on a new feature. Now users will get the option to edit the story. That is, if you have to type content while posting a story or there is something wrong, now you will not have to delete the story. Then you will be able to edit it. This feature will be rolled out for iOS users. The company is currently rolling out this feature for some specific users and is testing it. After this, all users will get the experience of using the new feature.

How will you be able to edit the story?

Some users have shared screenshots of this new update on social media. After sharing the story, a menu will open after clicking on the three dots seen on the top right. Here users will get the edit option. After tapping on this option, a warning will pop-up. It will be written in it that after starting the editing, the original version of the story will be deleted. Likes, reactions and comments on the story will also be reset. The company has not yet given information about what information users can edit in the text, captions, stickers, emoji, links and tags in the story.

When will Android users get the new feature?

Instagram’s Story Edit feature is currently being rolled out only for iPhone users. Android users may have to wait for some time for this new feature. Instagram has not said anything about this yet, but it is believed that this feature will be introduced soon. Users are very excited to experience this new feature.
