The application process for UGC NET June 2026 exam will end on May 20. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website NTA UGC NET Official Website. The exam will be conducted between 22nd to 30th June 2026.
New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) has set the last date of application for UGC NET June 2026 exam as May 20. In such a situation, the candidates who have not been able to apply yet can fill the online form immediately by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The examination will be conducted between 22 to 30 June 2026.
Correction window will open from 22 to 24 May
After completion of the application process by NTA, candidates will also be given a chance to make corrections in the form. The correction window will be active from May 22 to May 24, 2026.
During this time, candidates will be able to correct the mistakes made in their application form through online medium. No changes will be accepted after the stipulated time.
Who can apply
Candidates who have passed post graduation or are studying in the final year in the relevant subject can apply for the UGC NET June 2026 exam. Apart from this, candidates who have done four-year graduation course will also be eligible to appear in the examination.
The maximum age of candidates applying for JRF has been fixed at 31 years, whereas there is no upper age limit for NET.

Candidates must first go to the official website and do a new registration. After this, fill the necessary information in the application form and upload photo and signature.
Finally the form has to be submitted by paying the prescribed fee. The application fee has been fixed at Rs 1150 for general category, Rs 600 for OBC and EWS category and Rs 325 for SC, ST and PH category.
