TalkTV star Philip Kiszely was left enraged as he joined Kevin O'Sullivan's show to discuss the government's latest social media video teaser from the Department of Education. In the clip, reality star Gemma Collins makes a shock appearance and asks Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson: "What are we doing to help the children?" While it appears to play on the viral Devil Wears Prada trend, as the former Towie star meets with Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson to discuss education reforms, not everyone was impressed.

After being welcomed on the show, TalkTV host Kevin appeared to be in disbelief as he stated: "Gemma Collins, that's who Labour think the public really loves. They think the public loves her, therefore 'we'll get Gemma in, and we'll put Bridget Phillipson... with Gemma Collins and that way everybody will love us and love our policies.'" He fumed: "Another indication that this bunch of idiots trying to run this country are hideously out of touch."

In his verdict, Philip claimed: "They just look down on us, they think we are stupid idiots, and they think that this is our level, that this is what we will respond to, and we'll just sit there grinning and think 'yeah, yeah, yeah."

He complained: "They've got so much previous on this, haven't they? They just don't know what they're doing; they latch on to different kinds of celebrities. I remember years ago, when they were fawning over Russell Brand."

Kevin interjected that he remembered that before labelling the disgraced star "Ed Miliband's best friend," as Philip noted: "They just quietly shut up about it when they realised he's not the person they thought he was."

The guest continued: "They have absolutely nothing for us, and if you want to see how much they hate you, just watch that video."

In the 18-second clip, Gemma heads into the Department of Education building and makes a peace sign to the camera as she emerges from a lift, then walks through the office, saying: "Right, what are we doing to help the children?"

This is when the Education Secretary then appears on film, opening a door before inviting the TV star in, telling her: "Come in, let's have a chat."

Taking to the caption of all their social media platforms, the Department of Education wrote: "Gemma Collins is in the building, and she's got questions. Coming soon."
