Tezzbuzz Desk – Politics has intensified regarding the continuously increasing prices of petrol and diesel in the country. Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi has made a big attack on the Central Government regarding expensive fuel and economic situation. He claimed that the country is moving towards a major economic crisis and the general public may face a huge shock in the coming times.
While talking to the media in Rae Bareli, Rahul Gandhi said that difficult times are going to come in front of the youth, farmers, laborers and small businessmen of the country. According to him, the changes taking place in the economic structure will have the biggest impact on these classes. Rahul Gandhi said that the kind of economic pressure that is going to be created now has not been seen in the last many years.
He said that both inflation and unemployment are continuously increasing in the country. At such a time, instead of finding solutions to the problems, the government is busy imposing restrictions on people. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the government is not taking the problems of the common people seriously.
During this, Rahul Gandhi also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the government is advising people to avoid foreign trips, while the Prime Minister himself is on frequent foreign tours. Rahul Gandhi said that the country needs strong economic decisions at this time, but the government seems to be busy only in rhetoric.
In fact, the effect of increasing tension in West Asia and rise in crude oil prices in the international market is being seen in India also. There has been a continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel in the last few days. Fuel prices have been increased for the second time within five days, which is having a direct impact on the pockets of common people.
After the latest increase, the price of petrol has increased by 86 paise per liter and that of diesel by 83 paise per liter. Along with this, petrol and diesel have become costlier by about Rs 4 per liter in the last five days.
In the national capital Delhi, the price of petrol has now reached Rs 98.64 per liter, while diesel is being sold at Rs 91.58 per liter. CNG prices were also increased a few days ago, which has increased the additional burden on transportation and daily expenses.
