iran National Marriage Day is celebrated on the first of the month of Dhu al-Hijja (18–19 July). This time this day came in the country under the shadow of fear of war. On February 28, Israel and America allegedly started a unilateral war, causing huge losses to Iran. Although there is a ceasefire for some time after the mediation of Pakistan, the fighting can resume any time. Amidst this tense atmosphere, this big celebration of weddings was celebrated in Iran.

Around 1,000 couples got married together in this mass wedding ceremony named "Jan-Fada". According to reports, vehicles decorated with military equipment took to the streets for the newly married couples. 1,000 marriages took place in the capital Tehran alone. Events took place at the same time in the main squares of the city. The convoy of military themed vehicles gave a different color to the celebration. Despite the poor economic condition of the country, this celebration was quite special.

Celebration lasted till late night
