New Delhi: Actor Salman Khan visited Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday (May 19) night. However, his visit led him to lose his cool over the paparazzi who kept shouting ‘bhai bhai’ and ‘Maatrubhumi’ to get his attention.
The actor also had a heated exchange with shutterbugs stationed outside the hospital and asked them if they had “lost their minds”. However, there have been several speculations on why the actor visited the hospital. Now, the reason behind his visit has been revealed.
Why did Salman Khan visit Hinduja Hospital?
News9 Digital has exclusively learnt that Salman Khan visited Hinduja Hospital to meet his close friend’s wife, who has been admitted to the hospital.

Visibly annoyed by paparazzi behaviour, Salman Khan got upset. gave a stern look and said, “Pagal Ho Tum”. The video quickly went viral on social media, with many criticising the paparazzi culture in India.

After the incident, Salman Khan made four different posts on Instagram, giving a stern warning to media photographers. In his first post, he wrote, “If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for interacted with, taken care made sure that they also earn their bread and butter.”

In the follow-up post, he wrote, “But if they wanna make money from my losses…. keep quiet don’t enjoy.bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life. (But if they want to make money from my losses… then stay quiet, don’t enjoy it. Brother, brother, brother — screw the ‘Maatrubhumi’ and all that. What’s more important, a picture or a life?”

In his next Instagram post, he shared, “Aise main sau jala doonga.Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath.Buss try kar lena. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga? (In such a situation, I’ll burn a hundred of them down. Brother, next time try doing this with me when one brother is grieving another brother’s pain. Just try it once. Whenever someone close to you is in the hospital, would I react like this?).”
