CM Rekha launches ‘Talent Hunt Scheme – Flight of Courage 2026-27’, a platform to identify and hone the talent of the youth of Delhi

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday announced ‘Talent Hunt Scheme – Hauslon Ki Udaan 2026-27’. Announcing this, the Chief Minister said that this initiative will not just be a competition, but will become a powerful platform to identify, hone the talent of the youth of Delhi and take it to the national level. During the press conference held at Jan Seva Sadan, the Chief Minister also unveiled the official logo of this ambitious scheme.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the ‘Flight of Courage 2026-27’ talent hunt scheme in Delhi. This scheme is a golden opportunity for the youth of 16-35 years to showcase their talent with free registration.

Announcing this, the Chief Minister said that this initiative will not just be a competition, but will become a powerful platform to identify, hone the talent of the youth of Delhi and take it to the national level.

He said that this logo is a symbol of dreams, creativity and soaring confidence of the youth of Delhi. On this occasion, Art, Culture and Language Minister of Delhi Government, Shri Kapil Mishra was also present. Talent search will be held in 4 phases in 7 genres including singing and dancing.

According to the Chief Minister, this scheme will be implemented in all the 70 assembly constituencies of Delhi. A budget provision of Rs 10 crore has been made for the scheme. Under this, more than 25,000 youth will get the opportunity to participate in various stages. The entire process will be conducted in a transparent, systematic and phased manner so that every participant gets a level playing field.

Youth aged between 16 to 35 years will be able to register under this scheme absolutely free of cost from Tuesday through the dedicated online portal of www.delhitalenthunt.com. Registration, program information and updates will also be available regularly on this portal.

Competition will be organized in a total of 7 major disciplines in the competition. In these, classical, folk music and non-classical music have been included in the category of singing. In the dance category, classical, folk dance and modern/non-classical dance will be presented. Apart from this, participants will also get an opportunity to showcase their talent in genres like fine art and digital art, sculpture and pottery, music composition, instrumental music and acting and theatre.

In the competition, the first place winner will be given a prize money of Rs 2.5 lakh, the second place winner will be given Rs 2 lakh, the third place winner will be given Rs 1.5 lakh and the fourth place winner will be given a prize money of Rs 1 lakh.

The Chief Minister said that the flight of courage is not just a talent search program but also a platform for the youth of Delhi to make their mark in front of the country and the world. The Chief Minister said that the objective of this scheme is not only to discover talents, but to create a platform for the youth of Delhi which promotes accessibility, inclusivity, diversity and opportunities for self-employment and self-reliance for the talented youth.
